J and J Consulting is the joint consulting brand of Joseph O’Brien and Joseph Faiella. We design, build, and operate software systems for clients who need custom data pipelines, integrations, and analytics tooling.
We work with each client directly on bespoke engagements rather than offering off-the-shelf products. Engagements typically combine system design, implementation, and operation through the term of the work.
The Streamer Analytics Application
An application we operate as part of a current client engagement.
What it does
The Streamer Analytics Application is a managed read-only pipeline that aggregates per-creator social media metrics — follower counts, view aggregates, and content metadata — from supported platforms on a monthly cadence. The application is operated on behalf of a program operator who runs a creator accelerator program. Creators participating in that program authorize the application’s read access to their own accounts; the application then delivers aggregated reports to the program operator.
How creators interact with the application
Creators participating in a program operator’s accelerator are invited to authorize the application’s read access to their accounts on supported social media platforms via per-platform OAuth. Each platform’s native consent screen displays the exact scopes being granted before the creator chooses to proceed.
Creators may revoke access at any time through the relevant platform’s app permissions interface, or by contacting us directly using the address below.

- Twitch (per-creator read for subscriber counts; public reads for follower counts)
- YouTube (Data and Analytics APIs)
- Instagram (Instagram Business Login)
- TikTok (Display API)
- X (read-only public metrics)
- Supplemental public-data sources for fallback coverage
What the application does not do
- Does not read or store private messages, payment data, or other out-of-scope content.
- Does not use creator data for advertising, audience modeling, or third-party resale.
- Does not train AI or machine-learning models on creator data.
- Does not contact creators for marketing purposes.
